Double direction axial angular contact ball bearings are precision bearings without self-retention and with restricted tolerances to class SP. They comprise solid shaft locating washers, a spacer ring,a housing locating washer and ball and cage assemblies with solid brass cages. The bearing parts are matched to each other and can be fitted separately, but must not be interchanged with parts from bearings of the same size. High axial load carrying capacity The contact angle is 60°. As a result, these highly rigid axial angular contact ball bearings can support high axial forces in both directions.

The double direction precision bearings are therefore particularly suitable for precision spindle bearing arrangements in machine tools. In this case, the axial angular contact ball bearing is combined with a double row cylindrical roller bearing with a tapered bore,which supports the radial forces.
